Advice about Restless Legs Syndrome? It's driving me insane!?

My are aching and needing to stretch every night, cause it’s summer and the heat makes them worse.

It’s excruciating, I can’t and I sob for hours because it hurts so much.

Please, any ? Help!

    I have had RLS for about 9 years now. It is horrible I agree. I finally went to a sleep specialist and had a sleep study done. The results were shocking. I wasn’t getting any "good " sleep all night. I was completely worn out. My doctor prescribed medication and it has helped. I get some discomfort in the evening or during times when I have to sit for long periods of time. I cannot go to the theater or travel for long periods of time but the medication has helped considerably with my sleep deprivation. I can function during the day and feel rested. One thing that does help me if it gets painful is to take a VERY hot shower in the evening(try to blast the water on your lower back and legs), put on something that isn’t too warm afterwords, and message your legs for a bit. Cut out ALL caffeine ( this was very difficult for me ) caffeine is your worst enemy. Do not eat anything after 6 pm. and take walks, even if it is around your house if the weather is bad. I wish you luck with this, but the first thing you need to do is find a doctor that can help you.

    I’m in Florida, but I use heat on my legs when they are bothering. I have an old sock that I filled with rice, I put it in the microwave for 2 minutes and then on my legs. Try it
