Don’t panic, this virus isn’t transferrable through the air. Commonly known as herpes, which one I’m not sure. It doesn’t matter which one it is, but it can only be transferred through certain bodily fluids. This means spit and blood. The virus itself won’t kill anyone, but it’s annoying for a lifetime if you get it. Just don’t share glasses, no kisses, watch out for blood like normal, and don’t have sex with her.

Herpes is transferable by intimate touch so unless you are very friendly I am sure you will be okay. One concern I would have is touch. The virus is known to shed/transfer even when a person does not have an active infection. Handwashing is really key. This infection is nasty when it is on the lips but in the eye it can cause serious complications (in worst case blindness). Not to mention you are stuck with it for your entire lifetime once infected.
